HI,
I just noticed the glibc instructions changed.
I build it using 10.7 glibc-2.9, next page 10.8 is adjusting the toolchain.
Now I noticed you've got 10.7 glibc 32 bit libs and 10.8 glibc 2.9 64 bit.
I presume this must have been a recent change?
My final glibc has been build using these conf arguments:
CFLAGS="-mtune=generic -g -O2" \
../glibc-2.9/configure --prefix=/usr \
--disable-profile --enable-add-ons --enable-kernel=2.6.0 \
--libexecdir=/usr/lib/glibc -libdir=/usr/lib
What's the impact of this change you recently made in these instructions and
why was it made?
To provide support for apps that require 32 bit libs as well or?
Thanks,
Reinoud.
