For a beginner, it's quite a piece of a script. Maybe you could add some
checks about existing build dirs to `rm -rf` before building.
gmpv=gmp-4.3.2
I stuck to this GMP version too as PPL won't compile against gmp-5.x.x
(ppl just doesn't find it, not big deal).
The scripts for my multilib 32/64-bit system (topic is sharing our
