I've just read the page about grub2:

There are some important errors here.
First installing should go following:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
and not
./configure --prefix=/usr
Futher the numbering of partitions has changed. They were starting from
0, now from 1:
http://grub.enbug.org/grub.cfg
This is wrong in the paragraph "Creating the Boot Menu"
while in the example grub.cfg this it's ok.
please correct. When writing a guide please take care you are well informed.
