I don't think so. I installed Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition Beta on another machine and got .NET Framevork v2.0 with it. It is clearly distinct from 1.2 that came with VS.NET 2003 installed on that same machine. Machine on which I am testing mod asp has no Framework 2.0.
