The velocity dependency definition in click-nodeps pom is incorretly.
After 1.6, the groupId may be is org.apache.velocity , not velocity.
So the correct definition maybe like the following:

<groupId>org.apache.velocity</groupId>
<artifactId>velocity</artifactId>
<version>1.6.2</version>
</dependency>
