help button corrupts partially entered command

Bug description:
Typing the first part of a command and then pressing the large Help
button corrupts the command being worked on. It seems to add man df
|most to the end of the command. This is not helpful.
I suggest that help should always open in a separate window, leaving
the shell being used untouched.
