I also see similar improvements when i run the newly added JMH test locally on 
my Macbook.

Its good that we are adding a JMH test for performance bench-marking.
I am trying to get information on how frequently these JMH tests are run for 
Java performance bench-marking. This test will help in future if there are any 
perf regressions for this particular scenario.
