Regarding the message <https://mail.openjdk.org/archives/list/[email protected]/message/CK4JVAB3CN3WNBF4SYH4Y4YYRSPL4MCX/> from last month:
I am the author of the bug report https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8365960. I am following on this since I have an interest in seeing this being fixed. As a swing user this is a show stopper bug for me, and is blocking me from upgrading beyond Java 21. Since filing that report I can say the following: - on my Windows OS workstation the crash is 100% reproducible every time. This is not an intermittent issue for me. - it seems like it happens when the graphics configuration changes. Of course, opening an RDP connection causes this, but also plugging in an LCD projector into the HMDI port will cause the crash to happen. Or unplugging a monitor. So I don't think this problem is specific to RDP or having a network connection. More like a generic graphics configuration change event. Please let me know if there is anything that you would like investigated. I am happy to help out on this.
