Job Announcement - Consultant for the Austrian JI/CDM Programme
Kommunalkredit Public Consultant GmbH., a 100% subsidiary of Kommunalkredit Austria AG, manages on behalf of the Austrian Environmental Ministry the Austrian Joint Implementation and Clean Development Mechanism Purchasing Programme. The Austrian JI/CDM Programme has an amount of EUR 288 million available for purchasing credits from JI/CDM projects in the first commitment period. This makes Austria one of the biggest Governmental Buyers on the market.
Your tasks
- Assessment and monitoring of JI/CDM -projects
- Contacts with national and international institutions and stakeholders in the area of climate change
- Cooperation in the further development of the Austrian JI/CDM programme
Your personality and strengths
- University degree - preferentially in business
- Experience in international project finance
- At least 5 years professional experience after graduating from university
- Language skills: excellent in englisch and german, good in russian or spanish
- Entrepreneurial thinking, willingness to take responsibility, team orientated and flexible
Your challenge
- Work in the interdisciplinary team of consultants for the Austrian JI/CDM Programme in the international area of climate change
