Aw, dang. Just caught the typo: '(javax.imageio_._ImageIO)
I'm afraid I don't understand the usage of the preceding dot used in the examples: (.read ImageIO (new File name))) and (.createGraphics #^java.awt.image.BufferedImage (load-image "..."))
