In some post Rich recommended: (let [z (ref 0)] (defn add2 [] (dosync (alter z #(inc %))))) instead of (let [z (ref 0)] (defn add2 [] (dosync (refset z (inc @z))))) ; !!! deref @z again Then Is there any way not to deref again for this?
