Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce the release of the first Brave Clojure Quest: Deploying Your First Clojure App ...From the Shadows <http://www.braveclojure.com/quests/deploy/>! Like *Clojure for the Brave and True*, this book is free online.
The larger purpose of the book is to enable developers to share their creative work. By reading its ~70 pages, you'll learn how to use a few tools (mostly Ansible) to easily and reliably set up a host for Clojure sites, and how to deploy your app. By the end of it, you'll be able to get your Clojure app online using only a couple commands. You'll also learn some basic devops tools and concepts! If you're an old hand at devopsing, you might find the Sweet Tooth Ansible Roles <https://github.com/sweet-tooth-clojure/ansible-roles> documentation more useful because it skips the basic stuff. The deployment tools rely on scripts that I developed for my own sites, including Community Picks <http://www.communitypicks.com/>, a site for community-powered product recommendations.
