Hmm... I suppose so. That would depend on the semantics that you want. How exactly would a multi-dimensional slice work?
Right now, if you use slice on a multi-dimensional vector, it will return a list of vectors for you, which you can further slice to your heart's content. Perhaps that's good enough?
