It works fine with a vector.

user=> (ns foo.bar.baz
   (:use [clojure.contrib.core :only [seqable?]]))
nil
foo.bar.baz=> seqable?
#<core$seqable_QMARK___1454 clojure.contrib.core 
$seqable_qmark___1...@4f2b6c89>
