Re-reading your email, I realize that you may want to license the same code both as an open source and as a commercial product.
>From a customer perspective, if they use it as a binary why not. If you are the author of the software you can license it as you wish. Now if your customer get access to the same source code that may be hard to manage. Can you clarify a bit your intent ?
