There are a number of issues with clojure on lollipop, the ART compiler doesn't like the bytecode generated by closure for various reasons. I have just today opened a dialogue with the ART developers at Google and at least some of the issues have been fixed for the next release of Android. Others might require changes to clojure though. Be reassured that there is some movement in this area though.
If you are referring to the app store clojure REPL, that is probably suffering from the same issues. I'm not sure who publishes that though, so don't know whether it would be updated once this is resolved.
