I've spent the past week modifying the ClojureScript REPLs that ship with ClojureScript to dramatically decrease boot time. The official REPLs can now boot as quickly as 1 second or less.
The changes will no doubt have consequences for Austin, Weasel etc. I've tried to describe the nature of the changes here: https://github.com/clojure/clojurescript/wiki/Custom-REPLs Feedback welcome, I would like to hear from third party REPL maintainers about the changes before pushing out a new ClojureScript release.
