Hello, I’ve been somewhat of a hermit over the last year or so. A large part of that was the time it took to author my first book. I’m very happy to announce the release of *Clojure for Finance <http://bit.ly/1PxGF3n>*. I've had some good feedback from non-programmers. So I think a review from professional programmers is in order. Please get back to me with any questions or comments.
The book's pedagogy involves implementing various predictive analytics (Simple Moving Average, Exponential Moving Average, etc) for an automated stock trading application. The book's release timeline was really aggressive. But hopefully I've captured some of the deeper insights of how and why to use the language. The book discusses Clojure’s application in the domain of Finance. But I think those lessons are also more broadly applicable. Feedback is welcome.
