I've been using Clonezilla for a couple years, but this is the first
time with ThinkPad laptops. I have
a ThinkPad X200 Tablet running XP Pro. I am using Clonezilla 1.2.1-17.

I backup the whole drive which is a 160GB drive with 150GB NTFS and
10GB Compaq Diagnostics.

When I restore, The active drive is no longer the NTFS partition, but
the 10GB Compaq Diagnostics. And,
the partition type is changed from Compaq Diagnostics. to W95 LBA.

I tried changing the active partition back to NTFS, but it does not
work. The system boot to a black screen,
no errors or messages. It's seems as if MBR is missing.

I am confused why this happens. The cloning process works fine on a
ThinkPad T61 and T41.

I deselect the -g (auto) and select the (-t) option. I accept the the
defaults for all other choices.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Steve
