Is expert mode available from the menu or start option (Start
Clonezilla)? Would this be too difficult to add? I am teach people to
use Clonezilla who are more familiar with Windows than Linux/Unix
environments.

Please enter expert mode, choose "-k1", and it will try to do what you
want.
