Clonezilla live 1.2.2-26 does support to save and restore ext4 
partition. However, if grub is installed on an ext4 partition, 
Clonezilla live 1.2.2-26 won't handle that correctly.
It's recommended to use Clonezilla live 20090727-jaunty to deal with 
ext4, since ubuntu jaunty has a patch to make grub work with ext4 partition.
BTW, a reminder: ext4 is not officially by grub.
