Hi all,
Just a quick request for clarification on the FAQ/Q&A page:
under item 74: When I use clonezilla to clone MS windows, there is no
any problem when saving an image from template machine. However, after
the image is restored to another machine, it fails to boot, the error
message is "Missing Operating System" or just a blinking underscore.
What's going on ?
There is a possible solution of:
[ ] -t1 Client restores the prebuilt MBR from syslinux (For Windows
only) when you restore the image.
What does the (For Windows only) bit refer to? I thought that
Clonezilla could only be run from Debian/Ubuntu. Does this imply a
Windows based version of the s/w? If not, then what does this refer to,
or is it so blatently obvious that I have missed the point? ;)
Cheers, S.
