Morning all,

Looks like the mailing list accepts my Emails now.

Update:

I did a 'cat sda.mbr >/dev/sda'

This created the partition tables and sda reads as:

'# fdisk -l
Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 5 will be corrected by
w(rite)

Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 1674 13446373+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2 8219 13250 40419540 f W95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/sda3 1675 8218 52564680 83 Linux
/dev/sda4 13251 14592 10779615 bf Solaris

Partition table entries are not in disk order'

Then I booted into Clonezilla ISO and tried a 'restoreparts' using
2009-08-20-20-WXP.img, but again it only listed the external USD drives as
viable TARGET devices. It won't recognise sda as a TARGET device.
Any ideas?

S.
