Hello Uriel, 1) You can mount /home/partimag either using ssh, nfs, a local usb or second HD.
2) Clonezilla image size depends upon the size of data you have in the HD. It uses compression algorithms so the size of the image will be less than the actual data size. If you have 20GB data, you take a backup in a 20GB space.
