I took a notebook drive that has windows 7 installed away from the notebook, connected the drive to a desktop PC which I booted by Clonezilla live, made a backup image (directory) of the notebook disk and stored it to another HDD connected to the desktop PC. Now the image folder has some desktop PC specific information in files such as Info-lspci.txt and blkid.list. Why is that? Are the used in the restoration process? Can you still use the image directory to restore the system for the notebook? Do you have to do the restoring by the same PC?
