We can have a Backup And Recovery Solution for the VM's. That feature will 
actually use the Snapshot mechanisms to provide the backup and restore. The 
other option is to take the clone of the entire VM at different stages and 
preserve it in backup store. But to clone the VM it should be stopped which 
will disrupt the services provided by the VM for a long time.

Hello All,

We are worried about the lack of backup options we have for Cloudstack. 
Snapshots are great but this is not true "backup".

Everything works with Xenserver but we can't find anything that is compatible 
with Cloudstack?
