Fixed this, but I think the existing instructions are a bit complex even still. 
(Not sure all the faffing about with GPG is necessary - what's wrong with just 
using md5sum to get the signature and eyeballing the .md5 that's provided? 
Seems a lot of unnecessary piping and diffing...
