I got tripped up pretty badly with this & look a long time & a *lot* of long
hours to track this issue down - was not a trivial matter; risked breaking or
misconfiging other subsystems in an effort to resolve this issue: *literally 1
character* in the qemu.conf file
I went through the install process for KVM on Ubuntu for the v.4 stable
*official* docco's & nowhere was there even any hint that this had to be done.
Very obvious with 20/20 hindsight, but not so much at 2am & a number of
rebuilds later.
This is a pretty darn significant oversight, IMHO
