Hi cloudsuite guys,
Recently I am using the CloudSuite Data Seving Benchmark. And there was a
problem that bored me for several days.
I am in desperate need of your help!
The problem is as follows.
I used two virtual boxes to run the benchmark. One box is for YCSB and the
other for Cassandra. And both boxes have their own static ip addresses and I
can ping each other without problems.
I have installed the related software successfully and made sure the Cassandra
can start up and also I generated the dataset. And I set the cassandra ip
address correctly in the Settings_load.dat under YCSB.
But when I ran the YCSB, the operations were all 0 no matter how long I
waited. I thought it was not right, for I made a successful practice on just
one single virtual box (YCSB and Cassandra both setup on it).
More info about the details about the softwares:
1 OS: CentOS 6.2 (later I tried CentOS 5.5 and the problem still exsited)
2 Virtual box ip addresses: 172.16.19.16 for Cassandra and 172.16.19.15 for YCSB
3 Cassandra version: 0.7.3
4 YCSB version: 0.1.3
5 JAVA version: 1.7.0_09
6 Ant version: 1.8.4
