Hi Andy.

Yes, you can create your own videos (with a higher/lower bit rate) and use them
for benchmarking.

First, you need to create the video(s) and then include the function
corresponding to your video in the src/sample/streamdriver/StreamDriver.java
file like the other videos we provide in the package and rebuild the client
binary.

Finally, you need to modify run.xml to generate requests for the new video in
your experiments.

The easiest way to make these modifications is to check what these two files
include for the videos we have in the package (under streamingVideos_10) and
then modify them for your own video accordingly.

Subject: video rates about the media streaming benchmark

Hi,I am using the media streaming benchmark.I just want to know how to use a
higher rate video(higher than 1500kbps) run the benchmark.
It looks like that the max rate of the videos in streamingVideos_10 is
1500kbps.Could I use my own video (instead of the videos in
streamingVideos_10)run the benchmark?

yours,
Andy
