I guess I didn't make myself clear in a previous message. The original 2.5 accounting program was on the previous treasurer's computer. I never could get it on mine because of XP and JAVA problems too numerous and frustrating to mention. That is when I decided to go to the NOCA. Now, I have entered the end of year (2004) report (generated (copied) from the previous treasurer's printed paper report from 2.5) on to NOCA, but have not been able to put in the"total paid in plus earnings" (which is a different number than the "Total paid in" at the end of 2004. When I attempted to put the "paid in plus earnings" in along with the "total paid in" everything duplicated so I deleted everything and put in only the "total paid in." Is there anyway I can put in the end of year (2004) "paid in plus earnings" and get an update to now???
Also, I made an error in putting in the end of year balance for a security. How can I correct this?? I would appreciate any help I can get from you all short of deleting everything and starting over.
