My club is having problems with the uninstall/install program for Club
Accounting for Windows, 2.1.  I contacted ICLUB about my problem via e-mail,
but received no help.  Here is what I wrote to ICLUB:

We are having difficulty trying to insall NAIC Club accounting on our new
treasurers computer.  We first installed the program but didn't think we had
properly installed it, so we tried to reinstall it.  Unfortunately, the
Uninstall program does not seem to work.  We therefore manually deleted the
program.  Now, when we try to run the install program, it reports back that
a
version of it is currently on the machine, asks if we would like to
uninstall
it, to which we say yes.  However, the prgram doesn't uninstall it (as of
course, we already deleted it and all associated files, folders, etc.).
Unoftunately, it doesn't uninstall whatever residual file of whatever that
is
causing it to recognize NAIC accounting as installed on the computer.  We've
tried everything we can think of, including deleting NAIC from the Windows
register.

What next?

Here is the response I recieved:

"Please withdraw this request for support."

The response provided a link to my original message I posted on their
website.  It sounds like a computer program-generated response.  I then
replied with a message (I no longer have my reply) to the effect that their
response to my request didn't make any sense to me, and asked what I was
supposed to do next.  I wrote my response a couple of days ago.  So far, I
haven't heard anything from ICLUB.  Part of the problem could be that I
didn't include the serial number of NAIC club accounting in my request, as I
didn't have it handy at the time.  Nevertheless, I haven't heard a thing to
this effect from ICLUB, so who knows what the problem is.  At this point, we
are about ready to give up on their program and use the on-line club
accounting program available through the NAIC website.
