Last spring I purchased the above reference software as a replacement
for version 1.04, which I have been using w/o a hassle since 1996 [ did
have the updated software later].
I didn't install new version cuz old version more than met the needs of
my club -
Today I finally installed the new software and am astonished as to what
it is and what it does and doesn't do -
I had taken a class offered by San Diego NAIC on tax prep., where new
club acctg software was being used - and believed I was buying the same
the software. IT ISN'T.
I am confused -
Did I mistakenly purchase the internet version instead of the user's own
computer's club acctg software???
Are there 2 such animals--
Also all my records are wrong - as my old version included data through
Feb. 28, 2003 - this on-line version indicates their is data through
March 2003 - but only generates data through 2001.
The manual is less than useful - shows not one screen that the program
generates.
My questions are:
How can I import the correct data for my club -
How do I back up - or is this all on the web ?
Can I exchange this program for one I thought I was purchasing - for
instance when I pulled up the screen for
"View/Edit/Delete Member Transactions" - it literally took 7 minutes to
load -who has so much time to waste - [no I do not have broadband, and
certainly have no intention of purchasing it just to use this software.]
If I sound bitter and angry - well, I apologize, but I am ---
I am extremely upset - mainly because I believe NAIC ads were less than
specific as to what this program is and how it works on the internet
only -
Is the desktop version a product of same software company -
Is this pkg. exchangeable???

PS - for past 42 minutes I have been waiting for the screen :
"Members Status Report Parameters" to load - IE opens a new window -
but it is STILL BLANK - UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
