it won't hinder it in the least. but if you can wait a couple days you'll save 
yourself some time ...

konstruct is very cool and makes installing quite easy indeed.... if you are 
going to use konstruct, then i'd deffinitely recommend waiting for the 3.1 
tarballs to hit the ftp sites as compiling all of KDE takes quite a few hours 
(he says as an understatement)
