I'm inclined to agree with Keith here. If he want's your valuable
marketting information, he should be a bit more committed.  

If he's "really" interested in Linux, he would know these things
already. Anyone can lurk for a while and/or do some legwork, to get what
he's after.

I also like Aaron's points about sheissters like these and what to tell
them.

This has the cold clammy an sickly ingratiating yet non-committal feel
of lazyness and market research. He want's something for nothing
figuring that since he's from the big M you'll be licking his teeth for
freebees and handouts.

Persoanlly I'd tell him the truth is out there, and it's free. If he's
want's a promotion, make him work for it the old fashioned way, because
everything I want happens to be free.
