I think I saw something related to this on the Gentoo forums.  A search
there might help.

did you remember to do a env-update?  etc-update?  You might need emerge
portage to get the latest and configure it with the new GCC. (if emerge will
let you get that far.

Update: I linked /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3
-> /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.2

which allows it to find the new libs. I think this is somewhat of a hack, if
anyone has any other ideas Im game, but at least its workin'.
