I just tried this and you were right. I tried it in Mozilla and it loaded fine but it did present a dialog box saying that they were using weak crypto and asked if I wished to continue... and it went fine. Konqueror just refused to connect. Since the redirection of webmail.shaw.ca goes to an http I decided to change konquerors crypto settings.
Go into Konqueror. On the menu bar select "View", select "Security...". Hit the "Cryptograhic configuration" button. You will find a check list box on the left hand side. You will probably find that 2 of the 40 bit encryption ones are not checked. If thats the case.. check them. Then go back to webmail.shaw.ca and see what happens. I am surpised that shaw is using weaker crypto in this day in age. I'd probably let them know.
