I know this is a little overdue... my apologies, I was feeling under the
weather and this has been the first chance I had to do it.

The event was held on an absolutely gorgeous day. VFXweb were very kind in
letting us geeks take over their store for the day. I think we bought a few
odds and ends from Paul that day, that is the best I can hope for. For our
part we got Linux installed on a few machines. There were a couple new
installs of SuSE and an install of IPcop that I am aware of.

We were also fortunate enough to have four machines set up by Szemir Khangyi
to demo various flavours of Linux. Thanks Szemir! He had a SuSE box a couple
Mandrake boxes and a Red Hat box I believe. VFXweb lent us the use of some of
their hardware for the task. Sadly we did not have the super-burner set up
but we did manage to make some copies here and there for folks over the
course of the day.

Paul was also kind enough to let us use their network connectivity so we
managed to download the ISO for IPcop as nobody had a copy on hand.
Thankfully it is a relatively small ISO.

All in all it was a good day. I wish I had been feeling better. Marcel was in
town and stopped by to pick up some review books and to see how things were
going. What a guy!

There was even an attempt on Kari's part to get a TV set up to watch the Game
but alas, we didn't have access to cable and could not manage to get a signal
there. Instead she gave us a series of updates from our car radio. Suffice it
to say, those of us that were interested were happy to hear that the Flames
shut out the Red Wings in game five. It was pure dedication on both mine and
Kari's parts to be there and not at home to watch the game. It was worth it.

Again, big thanks to Paul and VFXweb for hosting us. We have tentatively set
the next InstallFest for two months from now. We'll keep you posted.
