A couple of questions regarding up grading software on Suse 9.0. I would like to update and install a few new peices of software like gaim 0.77, firefox 0.8 (and other mozilla stuff..calender etc.) and I would imagine more as time progresses.
Question is, unless it specifies a Suse rpm file which one should I be choosing to download and install? Also, seem to not be ablt to connect to the net now on my Suse environment and a descepencies report comes up for a bunch of software. This happned after I did the Online Update through Yast. Can anyone help and maybe give me a short tutoial on installing & upgrading software?
