Hi gang. I'm sure this has been discussed in the past, but don't recall if there was any definitive direction...
I'm moving at the end of the month and need to transfer my servers, which are hosting Web and Email services for myself. I have a very low volume of traffic (transferring a few songs will use more bandwidth than I do in a month with these services). I'm currently using a Telus home DSL line but it looks like we won't be getting a land line at our new location. So, I'm wondering if I'll be able to run my services on Shaw. (note: I monitor my bandwidth usage, and will move to a business line when my volume demands it.) Does shaw block port 80 or 25? Is anyone else running a similar service on a standard Shaw home account? Thanks for the input.
