Hi All, I have completed a very slow kernel update for Suse. Two hours on high speed using the ucalgary mirror. Is there a better option?
Also (questions with advice from my linux son, Ian - so I may not understand but with the replys but I will figure it out) Yast asked me to run lilo before rebooting. I tried but found out that my bootloader is grub. Also the kernel version didn't change after the reboot, but the Suse icon is green and smiling. Is everything OK? The next step is configuring my email with a program that will stop imap downloads - mozilla?
