http://www.open2space.com/articles/linux/dvd/ The problem isn't really Linux per se, but a conscious choice by Suse to not include software that might get them in trouble with RIAA/MPAA (this is my own view, don't know if it's official or not). So, by default, you can't view DVDs, but you can if you spend a bit of time working at it. (Hopefully your dealing with the same issue I was with Sues 9.1, and not a 9.2 specific issue...)
