No sugarcrm is a completely different CRM package
Everything makes much more sense now -- I was trying to create linkages between the two software where none existed. I do feel bloody silly.
Either way your clients will require a network connection so I would recommend web based.
Yes, I understand that -- I was looking for an app that keeps a snapshot of the shared data that can be accessed off-lined and can be synchronized afterwards with an upload / download transaction. Some of us carry laptops with us, but how many times do we sit in the lobby of a building and need to lookup contact information. You could find it on your computer but you will likely not have internet or network access.
If you need a hand with configuration of this type of setup I can be of assistance, email me off list for this help.
We may take you up on your offer -- first I will need to determine how important it is to have access to the data locally on the computer and whether we can use outlook as a repository and just use vtiger plug-in to give additional functionality.
