Don't recall if I used additional flags. It certainly wasn't destructive for me as I had lost my partition anyway. The only things I didn't recover were approx. 2% of my photos and my email disappeared. Otherwise I was very happy. I just checked the documentation out again. Accessed through kpackage. It's at /usr/share/doc/reiserfsprogs/reiserfschck.html on my system. It does strongly encourage backup of the partition before running the above command. You may want to look at the other options first though e.g. --fix-fixable.I have used Reiser for about 3 years and never had a problem with the fs as such, just my own stupidity. Good Luck
