Thanks Ian. This issue has been mentioned, and we're looking at it. We were able to disable the time zones for the events, but there seems to be a glitch in the general timezone code. It seems that when in daylight savings time, it shows the correct offset, but assumes a zone south of the border, instead of the set zone. Druapl has also released a minor update since this site was set up. So in the next few days I'll be upgrading the site files. Here's hoping they've addressed this issue.
