Hello Shawn and all,
I saw three programs I could reinstall, namely libsal.so.3 , libpthread.so.0 , and libc.so.6 . I got those from the error message I pasted below. Are these the programs you suggest I reinstall, Shawn? I just noticed that libc.so.6 and libpthread.so.0 are not in the openoffice directory. So should I just try reinstalling libsal.so.3 first? I only have sig 11 errors when I try to run open office. All help appreciated in advance, Michael Michael Walters wrote: >I just did an ooffice command and got the follwoing: >[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.openoffice/1.1.3]$ ooffice >sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found >Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x43b7)! > > >Fatal exception: Signal 11 >Stack: >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df3ec] >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df579] >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df644] >[0xffffe420] >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72d475f] >/lib/tls/libpthread.so.0[0xb6ef1b63] >/lib/tls/libc.so.6(__clone+0x5a)[0xb6ce418a] >Aborted >[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.openoffice/1.1.3]$ > >I hope this helps. > >Regards, > >Michael > >_____________________________________________ > >Michael Walters wrote: > > > >>Hello Gustin, >> >>Here is the error sequence you requested me to paste into an email: >>[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.openoffice/1.1.3]$ ooffice >>sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found >>sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found >> >> >>Fatal exception: Signal 11 >>Stack: >>/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df3ec] >>/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df579] >>/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df644] >>[0xffffe420] >>/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72d475f] >>/lib/tls/libpthread.so.0[0xb6ef1b63] >>/lib/tls/libc.so.6(__clone+0x5a)[0xb6ce418a] >>sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found >>Aborted >>[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.openoffice/1.1.3]$ >> >>I hope this helps, >> >>Michael >> >> >>Gustin Johnson wrote: >> >> >> >> >> >>>Quoting Michael Walters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>>>Hello Szemir, Mel, and all, >>>> >>>>I haved opened open office documents by the command ooffice and then >>>>selecting the document using the GUI a number of times.
