Hey Cameron, Ah yes...that was the meeting that I had to miss due to food poisoning ;(
Damnit, I knew I wanted to REALLY be there--I'm a Novell "fanboy" from way back. Anyway, I'm not sure if my work schedule will allow me to attend the August meeting *sigh* but I wanted to get SLES 9 and mess around with it as I'm supposed to be proposing a "linux" solution for server monitoring, etc. at work and I've played with Nagios at home, but it lacks the punch of trying it on the actual proposed platform (SLES 9), as it's going to be monitoring 400+ servers/services/processes, etc. I was thinking that we could do a swap--I have another 256MB RAM (PC133 SDRAM) for your home box and you could burn the CD's for me and we could arrange an exchange?? What do you think? Interested...you'd be helping me out immensely, as the evaluation version I downloaded from Novell actually *did* expire a while ago... Lemme know... Cheers!
