I have an M9 so we'll see when I get around to implementing swsusp2.
Entirely possible that my ATI is the problem. I had to twist a few bits to get it working and it may still be somewhat unstable or I may have left some nasty stuff lying around during my scuffle with it. All in all I can't complain. This is the most functional laptop I've had to date (read 100% except for the sporadic resume thing) so I'm pretty happy. Off to experiment more... Thanks!
