I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that it is 'a bag of shite' player.

Reasons:
1) Playlists only work within the 'MUSIC' folder.
2) Playlists can't handle '.\' prefix.
3) Playlists can't handle '\\' in the file location.
4) Playlists can't '..\' out of MUSIC folder
5) Doesn't remember paused point in media file if Playlist file is
'appended'.
6) Can not select from file names directly, have to do so via tags.
7) "Play All" in MUSIC folder has some weird ordering. Maybe it is
alphabetical on Track title (which then mixes up all albums...)
8) Doesn't remember pause point in media (when Play All) if new content is
added.

One thing I don't understand is that it is seeing and will play '.ogg'
files through the 'Podcast' selection (which it is presumably picking up
tags on), but won't display these '.ogg' files in a play list.

Doesn't fit my work flow of download podcast direct to player, play in the
order that they were downloaded and then delete them once listened to.

It's not much I'm asking, I just want to 'stream' podcasts while I'm
driving and add new ones without having to remember/reselect/ffwd when I
get back in the car.

So, basically I'm rather pissed with Sansa.

My recommendation would be to stay away from Sansa (at least the Clip
anyhow).
Simon.
