Here is what I got.

sh...@shawn-laptop:~$ sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 /media/USB -o umask=000
mount: mount point /media/USB does not exist
sh...@shawn-laptop:~$ sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 /media/USB -o umask=000
mount: mount point /media/USB does not exist
sh...@shawn-laptop:~$ sudo umount /dev/sdc1
umount: /dev/sdc1: not mounted
sh...@shawn-laptop:~$ sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 /media/USB -o umask=000
mount: mount point /media/USB does not exist
sh...@shawn-laptop:~$
